BMM Testlabs is pleased to announce it has partnered with two local colleges, and other gaming industry companies, to create Software Testing and QA curriculums for New Brunswick students.

Jen Leger, Director of QA & Automation, BMM Testlabs, Canada stated “BMM has worked very closely with the CCNB as well as the McKenzie college in Moncton to create these programs. For the McKenzie college BMM helped to create an 11 month program, called ‘Software Tester’. With CCNB, BMM led the year-long development of curriculum and course outlines, for a one and a two year program, involving a number of industry partners to review and provide feedback.”

Industry partners on the CCNB project included: IGT, GLI, PQA, Mariner and TSI Auto Solutions

Jean Corriveau, Director of Operations, BMM Testlabs, Canada commented “BMM is the clear leader when it comes to QA/Pre-Compliance Testing in the gaming industry and we have been very pleased to provide our experience to these programs. It’s a really important step for local colleges to be able to offer QA-based courses, as the New Brunswick community continues to be a center of excellence for technology-based business.”

Corriveau continued “Students enrolled in the Software Testing and QA courses will have the opportunity to intern at BMM during their study. We intend to couple hands-on, test lab and QA/Pre-Compliance experience with classroom study for our students, and certainly hope that BMM will be able to provide jobs for many of the program’s graduates.”

The Software Testing and QA courses will commence at CCNB and the McKenzie College in September 2015.
