Global Reporting Accountant reporting to the Vice President of Finance – BMM Testlabs


Role:

The Global Reporting Accountant is an exciting new role within the company and is responsible for meeting the CEO’s financial and management reporting requirements for the Board, Shareholders, Financiers and Senior Executives.  The role includes responsibility for the monthly close process and support of a new ERP implementation. This role interfaces with BMM’s auditors and tax professionals globally to manage BMM’s annual audit and tax filing process. This role also interfaces with BMM international and regional finance members and is a key member of BMM’s Finance Team.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • University graduate or above, major in Accounting and/or Finance related subjects,
  • CPA or CMA required.
  •  8-15 years of related work experience.
  • Experience in professional services industry preferred or IT software and services.
  • Experience with GAAP/IFRS and multi-entity, multi-currency and multi-country consolidations, intercompany transactions.
  • Demonstrable revenue recognition experience in a work in progress environment.
  • Very strong FP&A and Excel skills.
  • Key team member in new ERP implementation.
  • Strong ERP experience with medium or large ERP type platforms.

Financial Controller EURSAM based in Las Vegas, Nevada reporting to the Vice President of Finance – BMM Testlabs


Role:

The Financial Controller EURSAM is a new role within BMM due to broad growth and is responsible for supporting the regional businesses. This new role will have a prominent level of interaction with the regional Senior Executive providing FP&A and financial and management reporting support and be responsible for their regional monthly close process. This role will liaise with audit and tax professionals within the region and is a key member in the Finance Team at BMM supporting special projects.

Primary objective:

Supporting the Technical Compliance team in updating databased, checklists, report templates and Jurisdictional tables according to the updated Regulatory information maintained by the Regulatory Compliance team. Work with BMM Quality to ensure reports meet regulatory compliance expectations and requirements. Assist BMM Technical Compliance in maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies for which BMM EURSAM offices hold responsibility.


Specific accountabilities:

  • Under the supervision of the Technical Compliance Senior members, ensure Jurisdictional technical requirements are updated correctly and maintained to reflect the most current standards through the use of checklists, methodology documents, report templates and jurisdictional tables.
  • Support BMM Quality as an internal auditor of QMS.
  • Provide information to BMM Service Delivery regarding checklists/reports updates.
  • Create GAP analysis between technical standards belonging to different Jurisdictions
  • Participate in appropriate forums and meetings where attendance is required or helps support BMM’s business development and operation.
  • Assist Senior Vice President, Operations Europe and South America, when necessary, in regulatory licensing projects.
  • Assist in training internal and external engineers and clients to ensure proper interpretation of specific Jurisdictional Requirements
  • Support Technical Compliance and Regulatory Senior team in the organization and maintenance of Compliance related information and Repositories
  • In case of extraordinary events, be available to support Compliance team’s stakeholders under supervision of the Director of iGaming Operations and Technical Compliance

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor decree (or higher) in Computer Science or similar
  • Fluent Spanish both spoken and written is a must
  • Fluent English both spoken and written is a must
  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the Gambling Industry related to Compliance, QA or Certification
  • Proven knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office suite
  • Availability for potential relocation in Barcelona, Spain is a plus

Junior Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures that all testing is completed on the latest build and drives importance of retrieving the latest builds.
  • Notifies Test Manager to determine course of action during staff overages.
  • Ensures all DIRST / bugs are logged in the shift identified.
  • Provides bug summary reporting to client designees at end of shift.
  • Verifies the quality of the requirements, including testability, requirement definition, test design, test-script and test-data development, test automation, test-environment configuration, test-script configuration management, and test execution.
  • Stays current on latest test requirements, approaches and tools, and transfers this knowledge to the test team.
  • Conducts test-design and test-procedure walk through and inspections.
  • Implements test-process improvements resulting from lessons learned.
  • Follows Test Traceability Matrix (tracing the test-procedures to the test requirements).
  • Owns scheduling of all assigned Statement of Work (SOW) deliverables.
  • Assigns work and test hours to testers.
  • Ensures that test-product and test-process documentation is accurate and readily available.
  • Mentors and coaches Level 1 and level 2 testers.

  • The QA Test Lead is responsible for the attainment of the team’s project goals, of producing all the deliverables identified in the client’s SOW and scheduling of the work to be performed on the project.
  • They are also responsible for the QA metrics including adherence to the test plan, execution of the test cases and attainment of the number of bugs.
  • The QA Lead is responsible for tester conduct and should be ensuring that testers are focused on testing, are performing their work duties and are not distracting themselves or others from their work.
  • The QA Lead should be prepared to address issues of tester performance and attitude. This should be done by making sure the tester is aware of the issue, and asking him to improve and giving him guidelines and the support in order to allow him to do so. All of these issues and conversations should be reported to the Test Manager and HR.

Junior Produce EOD Reports
Validates that the EOD reports are accurate, be correct the first time and be sent to the client on time. They should:

  • Be sent to the correct recipients
  • Be correctly formatted
  • Contain all the required information
  • Contain no out-of-date information caused by copying previous EODs
  • Have all necessary tracking documents attached.

Junior Special projects or assignments

From time to time the QA Test Manager may assign special projects to the QA Lead in furtherance of the Quality Assurance department’s goals.

This position involves managing test teams that range from large (twenty or more), to teams made up of the solitary tester.  This position reports to a designated QA Test Manager.  This position may eventually lead to the position of QA Test Manager.

  • Three to five years’ experience in QA preferred
  • Knowledge of the Gaming industry an asset
  • Must pass the BMM QA Tester QA Test Lead exam

Position:

BMM is looking for Junior, Intermediate and Senior Testers to join our team. In your role as Tester at BMM, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our clients’ systems and applications. We are looking for people with a high level of attention to detail, who think outside the box and enjoy a fast-paced and challenging environment.


Level 1 Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform functionality, usability and regression testing of products.
  • Test configuration and compatibility of software on multiple hardware platforms.
  • Contribute to the development and follow-up of test plans and materials.
  • Track, analyze, record and verify all software functionality discrepancies and development corrections.
  • Develop, perform and document test procedures to verify problem fixes.
  • Report critical issues and work with development to resolve.
  • Carry out scheduled plans and provide feedback to QA Team Lead.
  • Monitor progress to meet milestones or deadlines.
  • Follow and recommend software quality assurance procedures to test and evaluate software products.
  • Escalate critical issues to QA Management Team.
  • Directly responsible for adhering to all company and QA policies and procedures.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by manager with accountability and responsibility defined prior to the commencement of these duties.

Level 1 Qualifications:

  • Graduated from junior college or higher, with a specialty in software development and/or QA
  • Entry level position
  • Knowledge of gaming, mobile testing and/or web services is an asset
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification is an asset

Level 2 Key Responsibilities:

  • The QA Tester Level 2 will be the primary contact for junior testers and is expected to field the questions on basic testing processes, design, etc.
  • The QA Tester Level 2 should ensure that the testers are up-to-date with all the latest design info that may have been received from the Lead, other QA Tester Level 2 and/or the client. This will help prevent Invalid-As Designed issues.
  • Spends a large part of their day testing and must complete the same tasks as the QA Tester Level 1 in addition to the above tasks.

Level 2 Qualifications:

  • Graduated from junior college or higher, with a specialty in software development and/or QA
  • 2-4 years experience in QA preferred
  • Knowledge of gaming, mobile testing and/or web services is an asset
  • ISTQB Foundation Level certification is an asset

Level 3 Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test strategies, test plans, standards and processes including performance and test automation.
  • Works as a member of a project team to analyze use cases and ensure detailed quality test are produced.
  • Maintains test plans and updates plan when necessary. Raises risks and issues when needed.
  • Reports and provides status on testing phases from test plan and test case creation, test automation, bug triaging to final release.
  • Reports on quality targets and coverage.
  • Supports the design, development and improvement of test documentation and procedures.
  • Mentors, coaches, develops junior and intermediate test resources.
  • May complete same tasks as required by QA Tester Level 1 and 2 in addition to the above tasks.

Level 3 Qualifications:

  • Graduated from junior college or higher, with a specialty in software development and/or QA
  • 3-5 years’ of experience as a QA Tester
  • Knowledge of gaming, mobile testing, and/or web services is an asset
