Financial Controller – Las Vegas

Job Description:

Primary objectives

  • To manage day-to-day accounting and finance function, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Finance
  • To provide business partner support to the senior finance executives and executive management team
  • To provide business entity and consolidated financial reporting (internal and external)
  • To ensure that financial controls over the company’s operations and assets comply with financial and taxation regulations along with specific international countries and any Gaming jurisdictional regulatory requirements.
  • To ensure financial accounting and management reporting are in accordance with GAAP, IFRS and company policy
  • To provide policy development as appropriate to enhance corporate management, operations, risk mitigation, good governance and the ability to contribute within the senior executive team


Qualifications & experience

  • University graduate or above, major in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum [10] years of related work experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as senior controller with primary responsibility for day-to-day accounting functions
  • CPA or CMA preferred
  • Experience in professional services industry preferred or IT software and services
  • Experience with IFRS, GAAP and multi-entity, multi-currency consolidations, intercompany transactions
  • Experience in managing accounting staff across multiple business entities across multiple international geographies
  • Very strong FP&A and Excel skills
  • Major ERP system experience preferred, including NetSuite
