Primary Objective

The Technical Compliance Engineer is responsible for maintaining BMM internal jurisdictional databases, checklists and jurisdictional tables by verifying regulatory information is accurate and up to date. Support BMM Service Delivery to ensure testing follows the proper method across all submitted product. Work with BMM Quality to ensure reports meet regulatory compliance expectations and requirements. Assist BMM Technical Compliance in maintaining relationships with regulatory bodies for which BMMNA holds responsibility.
Position reports to: VP, Technical Compliance

 

Specific Accountabilities

Ensure technical requirements in jurisdictional databases are entered correctly and maintained to reflect the most current standards through the use of checklists, methodology documents and jurisdictional tables.

Conduct technical compliance reviews of BMM Compliance Reports

Support BMM Quality as an internal auditor of QMS.

Provide information to BMM Service Delivery regarding regulatory information updates, changes, as well as technical developments status and recommend technical development approaches to maximize future business.

Ensure internal expectations are met with respect to timeliness and quality of deliverables.

Communicate to delivery and management teams when existing technical capabilities and process’ need to be reviewed or replaced and when new capabilities should be provided.

Participate in appropriate forums and meetings where attendance is required or helps support BMM’s business development and operation.

Provide information to management and business development team regarding regulatory status and plans and recommend approaches to management to maximize future business.

Assist VP of Technical Compliance, when necessary, in regulatory licensing projects.

Assist in training internal and external engineers and clients on BMM Database products and services.

Support and facilitate the use of BMM BOAT, including setting up accounts, changing passwords and providing training for users.

 

Key Performance Indicators

Maintaining and upkeep of jurisdictional information to ensure accuracy and reliability within the regulatory database systems, this includes but is not limited to checklists, methodology documents, jurisdictional tables.

Ensure quality of all communication to the BMM Technical Compliance customers, both internal and external to BMM.

Maintain a positive contribution and demeanor at BMM.

Be a spokesperson for the BMM software tools.

Training of internal and external engineers / regulators on proper use of BMM software, tools and services.

 

Experience

An engineering/science degree (4 year).

Minimum 2-4 years gaming regulatory testing experience, extensive experience in developing compliance test cases and/or development of technical standards.

Preferably, a minimum of 1 year experience in working for or working with gaming regulatory bodies.
