Event Date: August 24, 2013

BMM Testlabs is proud to announce that it will create up to 27 full-time positions over the next four years at its Moncton location.

Premier David Alward of Invest NB made the announcement today with Drew Pawlak, SVP Business Development – Americas, BMM Testlabs. “This expansion strengthens New Brunswick’s position as an innovative destination for the information technology industry, as well as increasing the number of skilled workers in this field,” said Alward. “We are proud to partner in BMM Testlabs’ plan for growth, as information technology is a priority sector in our government’s plan to create jobs and grow the economy: Rebuilding New Brunswick.”

Mike Dreitzer COO for BMM Testlabs – Americas says, “BMM Testlabs is honored to work closely with New Brunswick in this important initiative as a key service provider to the Atlantic Lottery Corporation. BMM looks forward to developing a substantial business in Moncton over the next few years, as we consider this an ideal location to anchor our Canadian presence going forward.”

Under the terms of the five-year agreement, Invest NB will provide up to $350,000 in the form of payroll rebates in support of the 27 jobs expected to be created over the next four years. The positions being created include test engineers, computer scientists, business development managers and project managers. The investment by the province will contribute an estimated $1.5 million annually to the province’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) once all positions have been filled. In addition, the Department of Economic Development has approved $50,000 under the NB Growth program in support of eligible capital costs.
