On August 23, BMM Compliance and the Storm family held a fundraiser for the Worldwide Orphans Foundation, at Green Valley Ranch in Las Vegas. Dr. Jane Aronson, founder of Worldwide Orphans Foundation was present, and more than $30,000 was raised for WWO.

Some 200-plus guests were greeted on the red carpet by the Storm family and Aronson. Guests were able to have their photos taken with Aronson, wearing her special WWO blue glasses made out of pipe cleaners—the glasses are symbolic of Aronson’s mission to help everyone to see the world through her eyes, and help her to help the orphans of the world.

Martin Storm, global president and CEO of BMM International, said of the event, “The Storm family and BMM support underprivileged children, and we are very proud that so many of our friends and colleagues joined us to raise awareness of WWO. The Worldwide Orphan’s Foundation is committed to helping children to have safe and hopeful lives, and the fundraiser was a great way for us to raise money for the children, while getting together with friends and listening to great music.”

The event’s master of ceremonies was Las Vegas personality Kendall Tenney, and there was music from Irwin Thomas, Aaron Hendra, The Rat Pack, local band Colorblind and local youth band Out of Date.

There was a silent auction, and goodie bags for guests with items donated from the local community, a magician, a palm-reader, and even Marilyn and Elvis were on hand.

“Importantly, 100 percent of the purchase price of each individual ticket will go directly to WWO, as the Storm family and BMM funded the event,” said Storm. “It was vital to let our guests know that they are helping the children of the WWO in a significant way.

“This was so much more than a party—it was collectively making a difference.”
