Position reports to: VP, Global Quality

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE

To deliver all the specific accountabilities identified below where he/she is assigned the role as Regional Quality Manager. The Quality Manager is primarily responsible for the development, management, and monitoring of the Quality Program for the Region.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Regional Quality Manager position is critical to the success of BMM in a number of ways by being responsible for:

1. Consulting to the Company on quality issues, maintenance, controlling revisions and distributing to the Regional entities the Company’s Quality Manual and the Procedures and Standards manuals.

2. Adherence to and management of the Regional Internal Audit Schedule monthly.

3. Managing implementation of the Company’s customer complaints and corrective / preventive action processes. Managing the Company’s Internal Audit program, performing Q.A. review of projects and invoicing as required.

4. Ensuring the quality of the Company’s work by advising and monitoring adherence to the Company’s standards and procedures, co-ordinate management review of the quality system through regular Service Delivery Meetings, Quality meetings, Technical Compliance meetings and the annual Management Review Meeting. Also advising the Global Quality Director of any Quality issues found that could potentially become an issue with Confidentiality or Independence which needs to be addressed with Compliance Committee.

5. Champion, support or lead quality improvement initiatives. He or she is responsible for ensuring that all managers, process owners or supervisors develop and maintain their part of the quality management system.

6. Regional Quality Manager is the liaison with external standards and quality assurance organizations as necessary to assist with and further the Company’s quality objectives.

7. Maintaining records and ensuring that formalities are fulfilled as required by standard certification agencies to which the Region currently subscribes and to monitor staff in their adherence to the Regional Standards.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring the on-going education of staff and the dissemination of information regarding quality related issues through the induction of new staff.
  • Participating in staff meetings and discussions and reviewing correspondence as required.
  • Review and approve all quality documents in accordance with requirements of the appropriate ISO standard.
  • Pinpointing relevant quality-related training needs.
  • Assist other BMM offices globally with quality system consulting.
  • Improves the overall service experience by identifying trends in satisfaction ratings and driving action within the organization to address drivers of dissatisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least five years in active quality management of ISO 17025 quality systems.
  • ISO 17065 is strongly preferred.
  • Must be proficient in MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint applications,
  • Proficient organizational skills and present a professional image.
